How the future could be ?

Roads?

The busy roads we use now would be used to the minimum. Everybody would be travelling through air. There might be vertical markings in air as we do now to divide roads with white and yellow lines. Each vertical band for corresponding characteristic flyer zone, like the separate speed zones on roads.

Electricity ?

Every house or office and factory would be self sufficient in terms of energy.
There could be small boxes storing or producing electricity available for houses for day to day needs. 

Supermarkets ?

Supermarkets would be places where we could get live crops or fruits. Everything would be fresh.

Space Travel and Exploration?

We would have colonised mars. We would doing asteroid mining for precious metals.

Vehicles ?

Vehicles would all travel through air and would be autonomous.

Buildings?

Buildings would be taken off land. 
They could float either on water bodies or in air. Wood would be a rarity in constuction.
When one want to go for a trip can move the entire house to the spot.

Robots?

There would be humanoid robots everywhere.
Robots would take care of all basic needs of a house. Cooking, Cleaning, Security and so on.
Hotels, Banks, Hospitals, Government Offices would be run using robot employees.
Needless to say all menial jobs would go to robots.

Food?

Food would become cheaper and cheaper as automation would take over in agriculture.
Each house would be producing most of the day to day stuff they need.

Automation?

Automation of processes would be there everywhere and easier.
Most skilled jobs today would be automated.
We would have a artificial variation of almost every natural process we see.
For eg. We would have artificial trees doing all the functions of a tree like using photosynthesis for producing food giving out oxygen.

Travel?

Travel would be reduced to minimum because there would Virtual Reality taking over. A person need need not be materially  at a place to be there.

Communication? 

Communication devices would go on becoming smaller and compact.

Compact World?

Space saving designs would take over.

Almost every object could be resized or reshaped to become compact.

Parking space concept would be revolutionized reducing land space needed.

Cleaner World?

Plastic wouldn't be there on face of earth because efficient organic decompostion mechnaism would be in place. Waste Management would be highly efficient.
Carbon emission would be minimal.

Peaceful World?

Religious conflicts and border conflicts would be almost nonexistant.

Safer World?

Casualities would reduce to minimum becuase humans would not directly participate in combats or risky operations.
